To Do List For Federal Aid:

• Apply for your student FAFSA pin at: www.pin.ed.gov. YOUR PIN WILL BE YOUR IDENTIFICATION FOR ALL FAFSA APPLICATIONS PRESENT AND FUTURE. WRITE IT DOWN AND KEEP IT IN A SECURE LOCATION WHERE YOU CAN REFERENCE IT IN THE FUTURE!
• Apply for your parent’s(only one parent) FAFSA pin at same web address if under age 24 and not married. Note: Your pin can be sent to your email and will be quicker than by snail mail.
• Fill out Free Application of Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at: www.fafsa.ed.gov
• Use your and your parent’s FAFSA pins to sign application electronically.
• Allow 2-5 days for FAFSA to be received at the school.
• IMPORTANT!!! You will be responsible for contacting your financial aid advisor to see what else is needed to complete your application. *Note: Due to our privacy policy requirements, we are not allowed to discuss your information with your parents without prior written permission. Information release forms are available at the school.
• Accept or decline your award with your financial aid advisor at Dallas Roberts.
• Talk with a financial aid advisor about other financial options. Keep in mind that Federal Aid will not cover the entire cost of attendance.
• Attend Entrance Loan Counseling.
• Sign your Master Promissory Note (MPN) on the Utah Higher Education Assistance Authority (UHEAA) web page at: www.uheaa.org (Your MPN can be signed electronically using your FAFSA pin).
• Allow 5-10 days for funds to transfer to the school.
• Note that you are in charge of your FAFSA application. Please check your status regularly with your financial aid advisor.
• Note that you will need to complete Exit Loan Counseling at the end of your 2000 hours.
